Burdett – Judith Ann Crawford, 65, died February 17, 2008 at her home in Burdett.
She was born April 10, 1942 at Kilgore, Nebraska the daughter of Wallace Owen and Isabell Jane Miles Hamit. A resident of Kansas since 1988 moving from Tucson, Arizona she was MHDD at the Larned State Hospital.
She was a member of the Faith Fellowship Church, Burdett.
Survivors include: two sons, Martin Alan Gardiner, Stafford, Jerry Lynn Gardiner, Burdett; Mother Isabell Hamit, Stafford, two brothers, Nichols O. Hamit, Great Bend, Larry Ray Hamit, Missouri; five sisters, Isla Dawn Hamit, Cody, Nebraska, Barbara June Hamit, St. John, Caryl Rose Hamit Rodriques, California, Polly Jo Hamit Burfiend, Wyoming, Linda Kay Hamit Ehlers, Missouri; four grandchildren and one great grandchild, many nieces, nephews & cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Dean Gardiner, Father Wallace Hamit, and a brother, David D. Hamit.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned with Rev. Roger Alford presiding.
Friend may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Fairview Park, St. John, Kansas.
