Jetmore – Julia M. McKibbin, 96, died February 23, 2009 at the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.
She was born October 10, 1912, at Cimarron, Kansas the daughter of Cary and Ethel Latimer Naylor. A lifetime resident of Jetmore. She was a Beauty Shop Operator.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Jetmore Country Club, and Rebekah, and a Pediatric Nurse in the Nursery She was involved in Community Improvement projects.
On April 24, 1934 she married William (Bill) McKibbin in Dodge City. He died August 6, 1994.
Survivors include: one son Larry and wife Linda Jetmore; one daughter Lana Frank, Salina; eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carole Ann McKibbin: three sisters, Elma Henderson, Enid Brinkman, Ella Lear, and one son In-law Hap Frank.
Funeral will be at 11:00: A.M. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore with the Rev. Marvin Ewertt presiding, Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
Memorials may be sent to the Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center in care of the funeral home.
