Kaiden Christopher Reed, 27, passed away February 28, 2023 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.

He was born July 31, 1995 in LaCrosse, the son of Travis K. and Vanessa M. Torrez Reed.  A lifetime area resident, he was a security officer at Larned State Hospital.  Kaiden enjoyed video games and playing the card game, Magic

Survivors include: parents, Travis and Vanessa Reed, Larned; girlfriend, Cheryl Ryan, Larned; children, Adaline and Dylan Reed, both of the home; two brothers, Emilio Sheets, Larned and Reid Sheets, Hutchinson; grandma, Janis Reed, Dighton; grandpa, Don Torrez, Larned and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with Pastor Jarred Smith presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Beckwith Mortuary, with family present from 7p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
