Larned, KS – Karen Marie (Lang) Kuntz passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age 82.

She was born on December 16, 1943, in Great Bend Kansas, the youngest daughter of Elmer and Mary (Jacobs) Lang.

She grew up on a farm Northwest of Larned.

She attended Gem Grade School, Sacred Heart Grade School, and Larned High School.

She married Norman Kuntz on May 29, 1971, in Larned. She was a homemaker and loved traveling. Norm and Karen visited many of Norm’s relatives from coast to coast.

Karen loved angels and now may the angels be with her for all eternity.

She is survived by a sister, Evelyn Huggins, Topeka, two nephews, Garrett (Dawn) Huggins, Topeka, Kansas and Mark (Christy) Grannell, Gardner, Kansas, and four nieces, Gina (Tom) Gawlick, Overland Park, Kansas, Lisa Bartlett and Dana Minihan, Gardner, Kansas, and Lori Cooper, Florida.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Kuntz, her parents, Elmer and Mary Lang, sister Kathy Grannell and a nephew, Travis Huggins.

Cremation was chosen and graveside services will be held later at Pawnee Rock Cemetery.
