Larned – Karol Ann Carden, 73, passed away November 19, 2020 at Diversicare of Larned.

She was born January 5, 1947 in Horton, KS, the daughter of Dean and Loretta Bell Mitchell Querry.  A longtime area resident, she was a Health Aide at the Larned State Hospital.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Larned.  She enjoyed Collecting Holstein cow figurines, tuxedo cats, doing needle point and cross stitch, coloring, going to coffee and loved spending time with family and friends.

On June 3, 1967 she married Dennis H. Carden in Larned.  He survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Terri (James) Nauert, Hubert Heights, Ohio and Elizabeth (Robert) Keller, Larned; five grandchildren, Justin, Johnathan and Jericah Nauert, Ayla Wagner, Brandon Johnson and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Querry and a brother-in-law, Ronald D. Carden.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2020 at Garfield Cemetery, Garfield with Pastor Damon Bradley presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
