Katherine J. Harden's Obituary
Larned – Katherine Harden, 56, died Aug. 27, 2010, at Hospice House of Hutchinson, Hutchinson, Kansas.
She was born July 21, 1954, at Coushatta, Louisiana, the daughter of Jerry and Mary Harville Guye, moving to Larned from McPherson in 1993. She was a nutrition aide at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital and Central Kansas Medical Center.
She was a member of Escue Chapel, Larned.
On July 16, 1975 she married William Harden Sr. at Winnfield, Louisiana. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, William "Junior", Lawrence; Shawn, Hays; a daughter, Lekisha MaGee, Ellinwood; five sisters, Deloris Guye, Debrah, Williams, Jackie Guye, Cassandria Guye, Denise Logan, all of Louisiana; four brothers, Jerry Guye Jr, Ricky Guye, Sedric Guye, Jerome Harvil, all of Louisiana; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Warren D. Guye, Bobby Harville, Terry Harville.
Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastors LeRoy Keith, Albert Robinson, Anthony Hill, Clifford Parker, and Johnny Augmon. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned City Cemetery.
