Jetmore – Katheryn L. Bradford, 89, passed away October 23, 2017 at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.
She was born September 5, 1928 in Hodgeman County, the daughter of John C. and Isadora T. Ray Lappin. A lifetime area resident, she was a partner in the farm operation, loved to garden and do jigsaw puzzles.
She was a member of the Jetmore United Methodist Church and the church choir.
On June 27, 1948, she married Glen E. Bradford Jr. in Jetmore. He passed away November 3, 1988.
Survivors include: two sons, Dennis (Marcie) Bradford and Terry (Deanna) Bradford, both of Jetmore; daughter-in-law, Angela Bradford; two sisters, Betty Bollinger, Port Washington, WI and Virginia Roszel, Hutchinson; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Bradford.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore, with Pastor Cyd Stein presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
Memorials may be given to the Jetmore United Methodist Church or Jetmore Fire Department in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, Box 663 Jetmore, KS 67854.
