Larned – Kathleen M. Foster, 81, passed away April 20, 2025 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS.

She was born October 20, 1943 in Providence, RI, the daughter of Doyle and Maxine Brannan Foster.  A lifetime area resident, she was an educator.

She was a member of the Larned United Methodist Church, DAR, and Santa Fe Trail Center. She received a Masters in Education from KU.  She was an avid animal lover, rescued horses, dogs, cats and an occasional bird. Kathleen loved history, local history, family history, the farm and all that came with it and her parents and brother.

Survivors include: niece, Jami (Travis) Davis, and family and nephew, David (Lynette) Foster, and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bob Foster.

Memorial graveside service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31st at the Pawnee Rock Cemetery, Pawnee Rock, KS.
