Larned - Kenneth Delbert Dreese, 83, died February 4, 2007 at Larned Healthcare Center.

He was born August 21, 1923 in Larned, the son of Delbert E. and Malinda L. Bauemel Dreese. A lifetime resident of Larned he was a farmer.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Larned, a former Trustee for the Federal Land Bank and former Brown Country School Board member.

On October 8, 1950 he married Anna Mae Walker at Lewis. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Donald K, Larned, a daughter, Barbara D. Hallman, Larned, a sister, Dorothy Kennedy, Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah D. Dreese, and a sister, Velma Wilson.

Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, Larned with the Pastors Tim Ault-Duell and Brett Hill presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday with family present from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
