Larned – Kennith L. Burger, 56, died June 18, 2009 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.

He was born December 1, 1952 at LaCrosse, Kansas, the son of Glenn E. and LaDayne D. Deighton Burger. A lifetime Larned resident, he was a Power Plant Engineer for the City of Larned. On October 29, 1972 he married Connie L. Elder at McPherson. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Travis, Garfield, Tyson, Larned; a daughter Sheila Martin and husband Paul, Great Bend; two brothers, Dennis, Benny R. and wife Gayla, both of Garfield; six grandchildren, Kelsey, Tyler, Destiney, Tristen, Dakota, Brent.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until service time Monday all at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Garfield Cemetery, Garfield, Kansas.
