Kevin Mark Liston, 49, died May 10, 2010 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
He was born October 28, 1960 in Great Bend, the son of John L. and Ruth Vogel Liston. A lifetime area resident he was a Transport Driver at the Larned State Hospital, and worked at Dillons for several years.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, both of Larned, Ducks Unlimited, Argonne Rebels of Great Bend, and the NRA. Kevin loved God's creation and the outdoors.
On May 12, 1984 he married Janet Nordman at Olmitz. She survives.
Other survivors include; his mother; a son, Patrick Liston; a daughter, Sarah Liston, both of the home; two brothers, John C. and Matthew, both of Larned; three sisters, Mary Ellen McDonald, Reseda, California, Kathleen McGahee, Woodstock, Georgia and Patricia Neybert, Ellijay, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Vigil Service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with a Knights of Columbus Rosary following. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Bishop Ronald Gilmore and Father Bernard Felix presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
