Larned – Lanet Rose Farmer, 74, passed away January 10, 2020 at Sandstone Heights Nursing Home, Little River, KS.

She was born August 27, 1945 in Gove, KS, the daughter of Clarence and Mabel Frances Batman Thomas.  A longtime area resident, she was a retired pharmacy technician at the Larned State Hospital.

She was a member of the Larned Assembly of God.  She was a very devoted Christian throughout her life and was also known as the "pie lady" at the Harvest Inn.

Survivors include: two sons, Joe Farmer, Larned, KS, Mike (Audrey) Farmer, Little River, KS and four grandchildren, Kyler (Hannah), Zachary, Carson and Zaden Farmer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sharon; brother, Myron Thomas and a sister, Myrna Flora Miller.

Cremation has taken place and a gathering will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2020 at The Place, west 8 ^th Street, Larned, Kansas; with Pastor Ryan Webster presiding.
