Larry D. Donovan, 56, died May 4, 2020 in Larned.

He was born February 29, 1964 in Larned, the son of Virgil H. and Shirley F. Roe Donovan.  A lifetime area resident, he was retired from the Larned State Hospital, where he was a Security Officer.

He was of the Catholic faith and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and KU fan and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include: two daughters, Briana (Kyle) Richards, Alexandria, VA and Megan (Kevin) Brabb, Pawnee Rock; two brothers, Donnie (Christina) Donovan, Friona, TX and Mike (Shelly) Donovan, Wichita; sister, Debbie (Jeff) Fountain, Arlington, KS, two grandchildren, Kolten and Payten Brabb and his dog Mia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Shirley Donovan.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2020 at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Pastor Bill Stapleton presiding. Visitation 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Beckwith Mortuary. Inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery.
