Larned - Laura Geralyn Buckman, 47, died March 21, 2006 at Via Christi St. Francis Campus, Wichita.
She was born April 2, 1958 in Larned, the daughter of LeRoy P. and Frieda Ann Hipp Hammeke. A resident of Conway Springs, moving from Larned 2 ½ yrs ago, she was an Administrative Assistant for Kansas Wealth Management, Larned. She was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church, Schulte, KS, Sunflower EHU, Sacred Heart Catholic Church Altar Society, all of Larned.
On April 20th, 1985 she married Chris Eugene Buckman at Larned. He survives.
Other survivors include; two brothers, Joe A. Hammeke, Belpre, Steve Hammeke, Bonner Springs, four sisters, Diane Green, Alvarado, TX, Cathy Beaman, Janet Horton, Pratt, and Amy Froetschner, Garfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned with the Father Bernard Felix officiating. Vigil Service will be Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
