Larned - Lee Franklin Hockett, 89, passed away September 29, 2017 at Diversicare of Larned.
He was born May 4, 1928 in Pierson, Iowa; the son of Ralph and Elizabeth Oldis Hockett. A lifetime area resident; he did Business research and development.
He married Leona Ruth Sucht Griffin August 8, 1992 in Longford, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include; son, Carl Allan Hockett, Virginia City, Nevada; step-sons, David Carl (Teresa) Griffin, Bruce Allen (Beth) Griffin, Byron Lee Griffin all of Larned; step-daughter, Brenda Sue (Brian) Reed, Larned; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; brother, Kenneth and five sisters, Ruth Hurt, Erma Payne, Mildred Peterson, Evelyn Trezise and Wilma Austin
Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
Memorials may be given to the Fort Larned Lions Club in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550. Personal condolences may be left at www.beckwithmortuary.com.
