Lee Allen Stedman's Obituary
Great Bend- Lee A. Stedman, 82, died May. 20, 2010, at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita.
He was born Dec. 29, 1927, in Stafford County, the son of John P. and Flora E. Meyers Stedman.
A Lifetime area resident, he was a retail salesmen at Montgomery Ward for sixteen years.
He attended the United Methodist Church and the Assembly of God Church both of Great Bend.
On September 6, 1948, he married Ada Lee Deege on the Degee family farm. She died May 31, 1996.
Survivors include: a daughter Katherine Handley and husband Bob, Peoria, Arizona, a daughter-in-law, Sue Stedman, Overland Park and four grandchildren; Jessica Handley, Bradford Handley, Nathan Stedman and Kaitlin Stedman.
He was preceded in death by; a son; Brian.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be at a later date. Local Arrangements by; Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
