Leota M Price's Obituary
Garfield – Leota M. Price, 97, passed away September 21, 2014, at Diversicare of Larned.
She was born March 31, 1917, in Haviland, the daughter of Lindsey and Olive Grimes, a longtime area resident she was a Licensed Mental Health Technician for the Larned State Hospital.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and the Senior Companion, both of Larned.
On August 27, 1952, she married Wesley H. Price in Garfield. He passed away September 28, 1984.
Survivors include: Several nieces and nephews a cousin, M.D. Grimes, Larned and a sister-in-law, Clarabel Price-Rohr, Garfield.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Everett Grimes and a sister, Lora Sturgeon.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Garfield Cemetery, Garfield, with Rev. Mark Lovett Presiding. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
Memorials may be given to Diversicare of Larned in care of Beckwith Mortuary, Box 477 Larned, KS 67550.
