Lester L. Shuck's Obituary
Burdett - Lester L. Shuck, 76, passed away April 1, 2011 at the Rush County Nursing Home, LaCrosse.
He was born July 24, 1934 in Pawnee County, the son of Rex and Leona Smith Shuck. A lifetime area resident; he was a feed mill operator at the COOP in Burdett.
He was a member of the Lions Club, City Council and City Mayor, all of Burdett.
Survivors include; a brother, Donald, Phoenix, AZ and two sisters, Kay Maness, Hutchinson and Janice Rein, LaCrosse.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Mettling.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Burdett with the Pastor Richard Zimmerman presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Brown's Grove Cemetery, Burdett.
Memorials may be sent to the; United Methodist Church, Lions Club or Burdett EMS all of Burdett.
