Lila C. Collins' Obituary
Great Bend – Lila C. Collins, 67, passed away September 7, 2015 at K.U. Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.
She was born July 14, 1948 in Hutchinson the daughter of Marshall and Leona Soft Mumford. Being of the Christian faith, and an area resident, she was a waitress and a cook. She was small in stature, but was a large kind hearted lady.
Survivors include a son, John Glisson, Roeland Park, KS; significant other, Gail Tournear, Larned; brother, James Mumford, Great Bend; sister, Bonnie Weber, Magalia, CA; two grandsons, Nathaniel (Nate) and Justin; one great grandson, Payton.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Lone Star Cemetery, Pretty Prairie with Pastor Susan Greene presiding. Visitation will be 9 am to 8 pm Thursday with the family present from 5 to 7 pm at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
Memorials may be given to United Way of Central Kansas in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
