Larned - Lillis Gayle Stambaugh, 85, passed away November 5, 2024 at Legend Assisted Living Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was born February 5, 1939 in Larned, the daughter of Theodore and Mary Wratil; she was a bank teller at the Farmers Bank and Trust in Larned.

She was a member of the Larned United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Methodist Choir, enjoyed giving her time to working at the Budget Shop, gardening and was an avid Kansas Jayhawk Basketball fan.

On December 28, 1958 she married Gary W. Stambaugh in Macksville, Kansas. She was preceded in death by Gary who passed away April 4, 2008.

Survivors include: a daughter, Kay and Robert West, Colorado Springs, Colorado and a son, Rod Stambaugh and Teresa Nickell, Colorado Springs, Colorado and two grandchildren, Jackson and Rachel.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 19th at Beckwith Mortuary with Reverend Angela DeFisher. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
