LARNED – Lois R. Lowrey, 90, died July 8, 2010, at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.

She was born September 25, 1919 in Pawnee County, Kansas, the daughter of Homer and Pansy Peck Dick. A lifetime Pawnee County Resident, she was a Bookkeeper for A.A. Doerr Mercantile.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Larned.

On February 14, 1954, she married F. D. Lowery in Larned. He died March 4, 1977.

Survivors include: a daughter, Coreen E. Augustine, Larned; two grandsons, Lowrey and wife Becca Augustine, El Paso Texas , Joseph Augustine, Larned; two great grandchildren, Kaleb and Makenzy Augustine, Larned; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Ralph Dick, and a sister, Louise Jacobelli.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Pastor Dennis Scheibmeier presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday all at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
