Obituary

Jetmore- Lolita C. Carder, 95, passed away July 29, 2017 at the Maranatha Retirement Village, Springfield, MO after a long illness.

She was born December 29, 1921 in Dodge City, KS the daughter of Antone and Maudie Leonard Hertel. A lifetime area resident she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Dodge City, KS. She worked many years at the Long-term Care Center in Jetmore, KS. and enjoyed helping her husband and boys on the farm.

On June 2, 1940 she married Roy E. Carder in Ness City, KS. He passed away October 4, 2000.

Survivors include: three sons, Royce (Janis) Carder, Aurora, CO., Cleon Carder, Peoria, AZ., Varlyn (June) Carder, Springfield, MO. and seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Kenneth Hertel and two sisters, Dorothy Curry and Velda Beltz.

Funeral Service will be held Friday at 10am at the First Assembly of God Church in Dodge City, KS. with pastor David Graves presiding. Visitation will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 8pm at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be at the Fairmount Cemetery following the service.
