Lorene S. Ratliff's Obituary
Larned - Lorene S. Ratliff, 91, died December 25, 2005 at the CKMC, Great Bend.
She was born September 23, 1914, in Newburg, Arkansas, the daughter of James Fred and Ora Faye Simmon Adams. A former Larned resident, later moving to Washoe City, Nevada and then moving back to Kansas ten years ago, she was a CNA for the Larned State Hospital.
In July of 1928 she married Cecil Patterson in Newburg, Arkansas, he died in June of 1954. In January 1960 she married Roy Ratliff, he died in November of 1978.
Survivors include; two sons, Donny Patterson, Las Vegas, Nevada and Greg Patterson, Rancho Cordova, California, three daughters, Pat Scheuerman, Great Bend, Sharon Brandsetter, Sacramento, California and Ina Coffman, Redwood City, California, Sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sons, George Patterson, James Patterson, Walter Patterson, Eldon Patterson, two brothers, William Adams and Johnie Adams and two sisters, Neoma Herndon and Mae Webb.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Beckwith Mortuary, Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
