Louis H. Rehmert's Obituary
Louis H. Rehmert, 93, died November 13, 2006 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.
He was born August 18, 1913, in Burdett, the son of Herman and Emma Uffman Rehmert. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer and trucker.
On June 21, 1931 he married Thelma Duncan, she died March 9, 1975.
Survivors include two sons: Robert and Dennis, both of Dodge City, a daughter, La Donna Evert, Longmont, Colorado, fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and eight great – great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; a brother, Dan, and grandson, David.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Beckwith Funeral Home with the Pastor Mitch Reece presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association in care of the Beckwith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 663, Jetmore, KS 67854.
