Larned – Lucille Ann Sickles, 58, passed away September 6, 2017 at her home in Larned.

She was born February 20, 1959 in Kinsley, the daughter of Augustine and Trinidad Perez Ruiz Jr. A lifetime area resident she worked in home health care.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, and enjoyed sewing and crafting and loved spending time with family and friends.

On May 22, 1985, she married Jeffrey W. Sickles in Great Bend. He survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Ashley T. (Joe S.) Garcia and Hailey M. Sickles, both of Larned; three brothers, Robert A. (Janine) Ruiz, Wichita, John C. (Valerie) Ruiz, Great Bend, Richard Ruiz, Wichita; two sisters, Theresa (Tim) Wright, Larned, Rosey M. (Todd) Weisensee, Wichita; two grandchildren, Isabella and Alexandra Garcia, both of Larned; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Trinidad Ruiz Jr. and a nephew, Robert F. Ruiz.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary. Cremation will follow the service and inurnment will be at a later date.
