Burdett – Lynn Carl Huenefeld, 64, died April 2, 2009 at his home in Burdett.

He was born December 23, 1945 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Wesley Carl and Beth Stilgebouer Huenefeld. A resident of Pawnee County for 30 years living the last 6 in Burdett, he was a Truck Driver.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, He enjoyed being able to volunteer his time leading bible studies at the Larned Correctional Mental Health Facility and was saddened when his physical health no longer allowed him to be involved in this ministry.

On September 20, 1984 he married Patricia A. Uselton at Larned. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, LynnAllen Huenefeld and fiancé Lindsay Verhoeff , Salina, Lester Uselton, Rozel; seven daughters; Kellie Coffey and companion Dennis Brack, Great Bend, Shanda Betzold, Salina, Nicole Rundle and husband Shawn Lawrence, Sandra Vanbebber, Summerville, South Carolina, Leslie Brown, and husband Louis, Great Bend, Barbara and her husband Steve Oborny, Rush Center, Berniece and husband Kenny Ludlum, Rozel; three sisters, three brothers; twenty-three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, a brother and a granddaughter.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2009 at Grace Community Church, Great Bend, with Pastor Roy Savage presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday with family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
