Larned – M. Gladys Glaze, 92, died September 19, 2008 at Central Kansas Medical Center St. Rose Campus at Great Bend.
She was born June 18, 1916 at Bazine Kansas. The daughter of B.C. and Lottie Miller Brown. She was a Medical Aide at Larned State Hospital Youth Program, Larned.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and a member of the Literature Arts and Music Group both of Larned.
On December 31, 1938 she married Byron Glaze; at Hutchinson, He died February 16, 1993.
Survivors include: two sons, Eldon Glaze, Larned; Errol Glaze, Laredo, Texas; one daughter, Gwen Hipp, Marrian Woods, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Herschel, Harry, Maurice, two sisters, Lieta Berry, Maurine Koehn.
Funeral will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with Rev. Jack Singer presiding. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday and 9:00A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned City Cemetery, Larned.
Memorials may be sent to the Gladys Glaze Memorial Fund in care of Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
