Jetmore – Machele Renee Whipple, 48, passed away July 6, 2014 at the Peabody Care Center, Peabody. She was born January 8, 1966, at Dodge City, the daughter of James L. and Marcella DeLaney Whipple. A longtime area resident she graduated from Jetmore High School in 1985 and was an office helper.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Jetmore and attended Special Olympics.
Survivors include: her parents, Jim and Marcella Whipple, Jetmore; three sisters, Marcia Hahn and husband Jay, Hanston, Marla Burns and husband Jay, Hutchinson, and Marlene Maupin, Jetmore; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Jetmore, with Pastor Dennis Fulton and Dr. Gary Winget presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
