Obituary

Hanston  - Madonna E. Cossman, 92, passed away December 2, 2012 at Hodgeman County Intermediate Swing Bed, Jetmore, Kansas.

She was born July 25, 1930 in Hanston, Kansas; the daughter of Arthur and Mamie Bamberger Hendrickson.  A lifetime area resident; she was a farmwife.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Hanston, and the Cowbells; 1was a Cub Scout Leader, and loved to cook and sew.

On November 14, 1948 she married Keith L. Cossman at Hanston; he passed away April 15, 1999.

Survivors include: two sons, Dale (Susan) Cossman, Benton, Washington and Doug (Barb) Cossman, Jetmore; two daughters, Jeanne (Gerald) Renick, Ingalls and Deena (Gary) Korf, Hanston; eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; two brothers, Larry and Donald and a great grandson, Haydn.

Funeral will be 10:30 AM. Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at United Methodist Church, Hanston with Reverend Mark Durham and Pastor Peter Mtuamwari presiding.  Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.  Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, Kansas.

Memorials may be given to United Methodist Church, Hanston or the Hodgeman County Intermediate Swing Bed, Jetmore, both in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 663, Jetmore, Kansas 67854.
