Kinsley- Mae Marie Heyen, 88, died June 8, 2012 at the Larned Health Care and Living Center, Larned, Kansas.
She was born April 30, 1924 at Larned, the daughter of Albert and Esther Peterson Mostrom. She was a homemaker, loved flowers and worked seasonally in the Colony Greenhouse in Kinsley.
She belonged to The Congregational Church, Kinsley
On August 10, 1947, she married Willis Edwin Heyen in Garfield. He died July 21, 1993.
Survivors include: two daughters, Arlene Werth, Hays, Connie
Cates, Wichita; a son, Craig Heyen, Kinsley; a sister, Emma Olson, Garfield; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother Albert Mostrom and a sister Vickie Jellison.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Hillside Cemetery, Kinsley, with Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding. Visitation will be from 1p.m. to 8p.m. Sunday, and 9a.m. to 8p.m. Monday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
