Mae L. Rasmussen's Obituary
Jetmore – Mae L. Rasmussen, 83, died July 18, 2010, at Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.
She was born May 17, 1927, in Hodgeman County, the daughter of Frank and Hattie Hendrickson Nilhas. A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to the Church of Christ, Dodge City, Boy Scout Leader, helped with cancer drives and was very family oriented.
On December 25, 1946, she married William Rasmussen in Dodge City. He survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Bob, Curtis, and Kent, all of Jetmore; one daughter, Janice Berlin, Tucson, AZ.; two brothers, Lloyd Nilhas, Wakeeney, Ray Nilhas, Dodge City; Six Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Merle Nilhas; two sisters, Jessie Hunt and Mable Nilhas; one grandson and one granddaughter.
Memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday at the Church of Christ, Dodge City, with the Minister Kirk Castleman presiding. The body has been cremated. Friends may sign the register book from 9:00 A.M. to 8: 00 P.M. Wednesday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.
Memorials may be sent to the Carpenter Place in care of Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.
