Maloy D. Breitenbach's Obituary
Great Bend - Maloy D. Breitenbach, 91, died October 24, 2009 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend.
He was born July 27, 1918 in Belpre, the son of Peter and Glenna Noble Breitenbach. A lifetime area resident of Belpre moving to Great Bend, he was a farmer.
He was a member of the Kiwanis in Belpre and Great Bend, and He loved to travel.
He married Gloria Brodbeck, then he married Wilma Clarie, then he married Pauline Beal.
Survivors include: a daughter, Dorinda Alcaraz, Kinsley; a son, David Breitenbach, LeCompton; a sister, Maurine Firner, Tribune; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: two sons, Chris Breitenbach and William Breitenbach; and a sister, Elaine Lytle.
Funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, with the Pastor Ryan Webster presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mortuary. Family will be present from 7:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Belpre Catholic Cemetery, Belpre.
Memorials may be sent to the Quail Unlimited or the Edwards County Food Bank, both in care of the Beckwith Mortuary,Inc. P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
