Larned- Margaret (Marty) L. Dryden, 59, passed away July 10, 2017 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, KS.
She was born February 6, 1958 in Larned the daughter of Benjamin Manning and LaVera S. Schartz Giles. A lifetime area resident she was a farmer and Auction Clerk for Carr Auction and Real Estate for 33 years.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Larned and served 14 years on the Board of F.S.A. She was member of the Dock owner's Association of Wilson Lake and loved being a Grandma.
On December 19, 1981 she married Tim Dryden in Larned, KS. He survives.
Other Survivors Include: one son, John (Jami) Dryden, Larned; two brothers, Benjamin (Charlene) Giles, Wichita and Rex Giles, Larned; one sister, Mary Giles, Larned and one granddaughter Jentry Jean Paige Dryden.
She was preceded in death by, one brother, Michael Giles.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Friday at 2 pm at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned with Pastor Jarred Smith presiding. Visitation will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am to 8 pm at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be at the Larned Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be given to the Jentry Jean Paige Dryden Educational fund in care of Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, KS. 67550.
