Larned - Marie E. Roberson, 79, passed away March 10, 2016 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.
She was born April 30, 1936 in California, Missouri; the daughter of Clarence and Delora Miller Smith. A longtime area resident; she was a Homemaker.
She was of the Christian faith and was a Girl Scout Leader.
On October 19, 1952 she married Norman Roberson in Great Bend. He survives.
Other survivors include; a son, Rex Roberson (Sherry), Ellinwood; three daughters, Linda Anderson (Roger), Inman, Kathy Morgan (Jim), Wichita and Mary Roberson (John), Blythe, California; a sister, Juanita Bronson, Claremore, Oklahoma; twenty grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; a sister, Billy Jo Verdot and two grandchildren, Sherry Robinson and Chad Roberson
Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Bob Yates presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas. Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association in care of the Beckwith Mortuary Box 477 Larned, Ks. 67550
