Towanda – Mark Brian Rector, 56, passed away September 22, 2018 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS.

He was born March 23, 1962 in Dodge City, the son of George W. and Shirley A. Metcalf Rector.  He worked for Cargill.

He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include: son, Jordan A. Rector, Great Bend; daughter, Brianne (Bryan) Wilder, Towanda; step-son, John David Terhune, Hutchinson; two step-daughters, Samantha Terhune, South Carolina, Victoria Terhune, Greensburg; two sisters, Marla (Kenny) Lacost and Marci Poe-Rector, both of Hutchinson; six grandchildren, Tyson, Paradyse, Layden, Amethyst, Briystol and Lincoln.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillside Cemetery, Kinsley, with Pastor Avery Rutledge presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
