Martha L. Sauer's Obituary
– Martha L. Sauer,81, died September 10, 2012, at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.
She was born June 1, 1931, in Rozel. The daughter of Elmer and Bonnie Compton Arnold; a lifetime area resident, she was a Secretary for USD 496 and also was the Rozel City Clerk.
She was a member of the Rozel United Methodist Church, Rozel UMW and the Rozel FCE.
On November 24, 1949 she married Jerome (Joe) A. Sauer at Rozel. He survives.
Other survivors include; son, Dennis Sauer and wife Sandi, Rozel, two daughters; Joleen Tomlinson, Austell, Georgia and Karin Rexroad, Salina, a brother; Ralph Arnold, Larned, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; a brother, Gene Arnold.
Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Rozel Cemetery with Pastor Brad McCoy presiding. Burial will be in the Rozel Cemetery, Rozel.
Memorials may be given to the Rozel United Methodist Church or the Rozel Fire Department, both in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
