Larned - Marvin Dee Webster, 82 died August 9, 2010 at Hays Medical Center.
He was born July 12, 1928 in Rose Hill, Kansas, the son of Harold and Gladys Williamson Webster. A Larned resident since 1951 moving from Mulvane; he was an Educator and Coach for USD #495.

He was a member of and an Ordained Deacon for the First Baptist Church, a Recreation Director for many years and a Coach all of Larned.
On May 15, 1950 he married Mary Elizabeth Smith in Lenoir, North Carolina. She died January 21, 2000.

Survivors include: three sons, Steve F. and wife Sherry, Larned, Randy C. and wife Kim, Waco, Texas, Mitchell D. and wife Jennifer, Kansas City, Missouri, two brothers; Harold, Springfield, Missouri, Jerry, Independence, Kansas, a sister; Judy Wayman, Mulvane; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: a sister; Odessa Holland.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Larned with Rev. John Hester presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
