Jetmore – Mary June Bailey, 82, died October 18, 2007, at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.
She was born June 30, 1925, at Hanston, the daughter of Lewis Alvin and Leona Marie Ruby Dixon. She was a lifetime area resident.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, E.H.U., and the Sugar and Spice Hobby Club, all of Jetmore.
On May 10, 1948, she married Walter Bailey at Plainview, Texas. He died March 22, 1986.
Survivors include:One sister Avola Sparrow, Georgia; and Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two, brothers, Alvin Dixon, Jimmy Dixon, one sisters, Joy Higgins
Graveside service will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, with Pastor Gail Fisher presiding. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore. Visitation will be from 9a.m. to 8p.m. Sunday, Monday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.
Memorials may be sent to the Jetmore Emergency Medical Technician, in care of the Beckwith Funeral Home Box 663 Jetmore, Ks. 67854.
