Jetmore – Mary M. Cossman, 80, died April 3, 2014, at the Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.

She was born February 4, 1934, in Ford County, Kansas, the daughter of Ivan and Margurite Small Lightfoot. A life time area resident she was a homemaker and loved collectables.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, was an elder for the church and was a member of the Fairmount Cemetery Board, all of Jetmore.

On February 17, 1951, she married John Marvin Cossman in Clayton, New Mexico. He passed away May 19, 1993.

Survivors include: three sons, Max Cossman, Salina, Gary Cossman and wife Sue, Nick Cossman and wife Carla, both of Jetmore; a daughter, Gail Brandyberry and husband Dave, Lenora, Kansas; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
