Garfield – Mary "Charlene" Hainer, 56, passed away January 17, 2017, at BSA Health System, Amarillo, Texas.

She was born September 11, 1960 in Larned, the daughter of Charles Clement and Mary Louise Hall Lange. A longtime area resident, she was a happy homemaker, beloved and dedicated wife of 37 years.

She was a member of the Larned Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and crafts including, tatting, crocheting and painting. Throughout the years while traveling with her husband, Jesse, they accumulated an extravagant rock collection from all over the U.S.A.

On May 20, 1979, she married Jesse Dean Hainer in Larned. He survives.

Other survivors include: mother, Mary Louise Lange, Larned; mother-in-law, Rosetta (Charlie) Miller, Amarillo, TX; children, Vanessa (Timothy) Weets, Pleasant Hill, IA; Jared (Jamie) Hainer, Garfield; Jamie (Michael) Wagner, Sarah (Jason) Zink and Katie Hainer, all of Larned; brother, Dr. Charles (Sabrina) Lange, Garden City; sister, Karla (Mark) Buck, Hutchinson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Deb) Hainer, Colfax, IA; Rebecca Hainer, Amarillo, TX; Renee Hainer, Tulsa, OK; and Errol (Dena) Hainer, Amarillo, TX; twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Clement Lange and father-in-law, Donald Dean Hainer.

Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with Rev. Ryan Webster and Rev. Errol Hainer presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday with family present from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Garfield Cemetery, Garfield.
