Obituary

Hanston – Mary Beth Hubin, 84, died January 22, 2008 at Hodgeman County Long Term Care Center, Jetmore.

She was born March 29, 1923 at Hanston, the daughter of James and Zella Ruff Nutt. She was a retired postmaster, she worked at the Hanston post office for over 25 years. A lifetime Hanston resident.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, VFW Aux., and senior center all of Hanston.

On September 3, 1941, she married Glen (Shorty) Hubin at Hanston, He survives.


Other survives include: two sons, James, Centralia, MO. John, Hanston, four daughters, Sharon Grate, Andover; Becky Benda; Okarche, OK,; Lana Paschal, Lakewood, CO.; Patti Duerksen, Hillsboro; one sister, Melba Lang, Pampa, TX.; 14 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Tommy, two brothers, James Nutt, J.D. Nutt, and one granddaughter JoLynn.

Funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Hanston, with the Rev. Carl Vincent presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 8: 00 P.M. Thursday and Friday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Hanston Cemetery, Hanston.
