Hanston – Maxine Faye Hann, 81, passed away August 9, 2016, at Brookdale of Dodge City.
She was born October 20, 1934, in Jetmore, the daughter of Carl Lee and Mildred May Cole Bamberger. A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hanston Senior Center and the FCE, all of Hanston.
On August 9, 1953, she married Duane (Sandy) Hann in Ness City. He passed away August 13, 2002.
Survivors include: two sons, Tony (Toni) Hann, Hanston, John (Laurie) Hann, Lawrenceville, GA; two daughters, Ronda (Ric) Blahut, Clinton, MO, Suzan (Scott) Smith, Jetmore; a brother, Norman (Judy) Bamberger, Jetmore; two sisters, Glenda Schaffer and Karla (J.E.) Dansel, both of Jetmore; seven grandchildren, Shane (Stacey) Smith, Hays, Shawn (Lindsay) Smith, Colwich, Daniel (Yasmine) Blahut, San Francisco, CA, Amber Blahut, Kansas City, Christopher (Stephanie) Hann, Olathe, Adam (Julie) Hann, Ellis, Jordan (John) Long, Springfield, MO; eight great grandchildren, Jalen and Lauren Smith, Gentry and Jax Smith, Tinsley and Harley Hann, Jadyn and Adalie Hann.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Charlene Jarnagin and a great granddaughter, Adalyn Hann.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Hanston, with Pastor Rod McMillan and Stan Ewy presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Hanston Cemetery, Hanston.
