Larned - Michael J. Snyder, 50, passed away December 31, 2017 at his home, Larned.
He was born October 11, 1967 in Beloit, Kansas; the son of Hugh and Mary Jean Mitchell Snyder. A lifetime area resident; he was owner and operator of Unique Physique Gym for over 25 years.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned and the National Physique Committee.
On July 7, 1999 he married Julie A. Vratil, in Larned; she survives.
Other survivors include; his mother, Mary Jean Snyder, Larned; two sons, Camry and Jace Snyder, both of Larned; a brother, David Snyder, Larned and a sister, Sandra Lemuz, Wichita.
He was preceded in death by; his father Hugh Snyder.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bernard Felix officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Mike Snyder Memorial Fund in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550. Personal condolences may be left for family at www.beckwithmortuary.com.
