Jetmore – Michelle L. Cole, 60, passed away December 21, 2024 at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.

She was born January 11, 1964 in Garden City, the daughter of Corwin Leon and Evelyn (Rupp) Betts. A longtime area resident moving from Garden City to Jetmore in 1988. She was the business manager for Heartland Auto & Diesel.

She was a member of the EHU of Garden City, Jetmore Methodist Church, Methodist Women, Hodgeman County 4-H Leader, FCE, Piecemakers Quilting Group, and Hodgeman County Extension Council, all of Jetmore. She loved camping, fishing, sewing, cooking and baking, going to the races and spending time with her family and friends.

On December 18, 1982, she married Jeffrey Kenneth "Jeff" Cole in Garden City, KS. He passed away August 7, 2024.

Survivors include: daughter, Audree (Ben) Worth, Jetmore; two sisters, Sherri (Greg) Suderman, Garden City and Vicki (Steven) Krehbiel, Holcomb; two grandchildren, Shanaye Michelle Worth and Addison Kenleigh Worth, both of Jetmore and she was "Aunt Moe" to her 7 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Jeff Cole.

Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2025 at Jetmore Methodist Church with Pastor Maria Grimm presiding. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2025 with family present from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Inurnment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
