Larned - Mildred "Millie" K. Oetken, 64, passed away March 29, 2017, at Diversicare of Larned.
She was born May 18, 1952 at Dodge City, the daughter of Marvin and Margaret Leonhart Rupp. A lifetime area resident; she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Larned.
On July 2, 1972 she married Charlie Oetken in St. John. He survives.
Other survivors include; a son, Bill and wife Tina Oetken, and two grandchildren, Kaylee and Kenna Oetken, all of Aurora, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mike Rupp.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Larned Cemetery with Pastor David Spare presiding. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in Larned Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
