Jetmore – Milton Lee Berger, 82, died November 30, 2010 at the Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.
He was born May 5, 1928 in Hodgeman County, the son of Theodore & Ellen Lupfer Berger Sr. a longtime resident of Jetmore. He was a tool & dye machinist at Curtis Machine, managed South West Grain, Jetmore, and an Oil Field Pumper.
He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, American Legion both of Jetmore; V.F.W., Hanston and a Mason.
On April 27, 1952 he married Wanda Dunn at Jetmore She survives
Other survivors include: four daughters Brenda K. Herrman, Cimarron; Marla L. Holmes, Hanston; Darla D. Korf, Humboldt, Ks; Marsha L. Fitzsimmons, Fort Morgan, CO.; 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers, Harold, Robert, Ted, Jean, Chet, Ross, James, four sisters, Mildred Spreier, Louise Schroeder, Mary Hays, Beth Oestereich.
Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with the Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, with Military Graveside Rites.
