Jetmore - Myrna Marie Rabe, 65, died February 22, 2009 at her home in Jetmore
She was born March 1, 1943 in Ransom, the daughter of Levi and Claire Nihiser Jarvis. She attended the Arnold Grade and High School and Ransom High School. She was an employee for the Social and Rehabilitation Service for the State of Kansas and later worked for Olsten Agency in Pratt, Kansas.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Arnold.
On December 3, 1960 she married Kenneth Stieben, then later married Jack Rabe, on January 26, 1989. He survives, living in Jetmore.
Other survivors include; a daughter, Julie Stieben, Dodge City, a son Donnie Stieben and wife Teri, Jetmore, a grandchild, Lindsey Stieben and Nephews and Nieces.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; a brother, Laurence Jarvis; and a sister Marjorie Long.
Funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore with the Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
