Larned - Mystel Kathryn Graver, 91 died, December 2, 2007 at St. Joseph Long Term Care Center, Larned.
She was born June 12, 1916 in North West Rural Pawnee County, the daughter of Willis O. and Maude Williamson Vaughan. A lifetime resident she was a Homemaker.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, St. Joseph Auxiliary all of Larned, Eastern Star, Rush Center. She was a 4-H Leader and Project Leader for the Pawnee County 4-H. She was a gallant seamstress, counter cross-stitched, and had many beautiful and cuddly stuffed animals. She loved animals especially her close friend Blackie the cat.
On September 1, 1938 she married Leon Graver in Larned. He survives.
Other survivors include, two sons, Leon (Bev) and wife Sharon, Portland, Oregon and Ronald G. and wife Mary Kay, Ft. Collins, Colorado; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by; two sisters, Virginia Scheideman, Geneva Schwab.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Larned with the Reverend Bill Fitzgerrel presiding. Visitation will be until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. to 8: p.m. Tuesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
