Nancy J. Hughes' Obituary
Scottsdale, Arizona - Nancy J. Hughes, 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family May 10, 2010 at the Arizona Heart Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona. She was born March 30, 1935 in Topeka, KS; the daughter of Murl Leon and Helen L. Row Myerson Johnston. A resident of Scottsdale, Arizona for the past 3 ½ years, moving from Overland Park, Kansas. She was Head cashier at Walgreens in Scottsdale, Arizona.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was involved in many church groups.
On April 28, 1956 she married Harold Baldwin Hughes at Kansas City, Missouri. He died September 26, 1994.
Survivors include; a son Randy Hughes and wife Amy, Scottsdale, Arizona; a daughter, Cindy Hoppe and husband Willie, Springerville, Arizona, seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the Phoenix Children's Hospital, in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
