She was born May 30, 1919, in Pawnee County, the daughter of Thomas and Fidelis Bodine Wimberly. A long-time Larned resident, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altar Society, Larned.

She married Herman Vratil in Pawnee County. He died January 14, 1941. She then married Leo Vratil May 16, 1943. He died June 30, 1997.

She was preceded in by a sister, Lois Blattner.

Survivors include: two daughters; Glenda Miller, and husband Robert, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ann Schreiber, and her husband Philip, Larned; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral mass will be at 10:00 am Friday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Larned, with Fr. Bernard Felix, Officiant. Friends may call 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Wednesday, and Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel., Larned. A vigil service will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 pm at the mortuary chapel. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
